Investor Tips

Here's some facts for anyone trying to find capital to start a business when dealing with investors:

1) 99% of investors with money will not sign a non-disclose form. They will throw out your proposal or ignore you if you try that.

2) They only invest in things that have huge profits within a certain amount of years.

3) You need an exit strategy. Selling the company or going public.

4) It has to be a business/strategy in which you have an advantage. You have to have a distinct advantage over competition for years, so it has to be a secret sauce, new technology or new way of doing something that'll take competitors time to adjust.
For something small (Under $50K), and having no experience or strong management team, I suggest you take out a loan or use a credit card.
